A user with IT administrator privileges can abuse Microsoft Teams’ Copilot integration to arbitrarily block another participant from sending or receiving chat messages during meetings, creating a disruptive control vulnerability with no apparent end-user workaround.

Existing meeting platform controls do not prevent an administrator with Copilot access from unilaterally silencing chat for a specific participant, and the blocked user has no way to override this or request unblocking within the meeting.
