Need to shorten a corrugated dishwasher drain line to prevent grey water backup, but cannot find adapter to connect cut line to air gap.

Pre-made dishwasher drain hoses come with fixed end fittings; no adapter exists to shorten a corrugated hose and attach it to an air gap.
