A remote contractor is being monitored by Clockify screenshots every 5 minutes, but their non-typing work (research, thinking, sketching) appears as idle or personal browsing, causing anxiety and potential distrust.

Clockify screenshots capture only visual activity, misrepresenting cognitive or non-screen work as unproductive; manual notes or separate profiles are ad-hoc workarounds.
